Who am I?

Hello! My name is Ben, and I’m a photographer currently based in Bath. I’m available to shoot live music, behind-the-scenes, portraits, and product.

My earliest memory of photography came from when I got a small red compact camera for my birthday when I was in Primary School. From my early time in secondary school I knew that I wanted to have a creative job in the future.

When I was studying at Chelmsford College in Chelmsford, Essex and for my Bachelor’s with Honours Degree at Birmingham City University, I learned creative techniques such as developing black and white film, using the darkroom, using the studio, and having access to some amazing pieces of equipment such as the cinematic Canon C70, and understand the essence of printing from the amazing lecturers and technicians there.

I have a strong passion for shooting Live Music, where I can capture the emotion and passion from the performers on stage from different points around the crowd. I’m also a guitar player on my Les Paul!

The next genre I aim to get more experience in is Wedding Photography.
